  • HAIL MARY

    Hail Mary, full of grace, our Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

  • MEMORARE

    Memorare, O piissima Virgo Maria, non esse auditum a saeculo, quemquam ad tua currentem praesidia, tua implorantem auxilia, tua petentem suffragia, esse derelictum. Ego tali animatus confidentia, ad te, Virgo Virginum, Mater, curro, ad te venio, coram te gemens peccator assisto. Noli, Mater Verbi, verba mea despicere; sed audi propitia et exaudi. Amen.

  • REMEMBER

    Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

  • SUB TUUM PRÆSIDIUM

    Sub tuum præsidium confugimus, Sancta Dei Genitrix; nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus nostris, et a periculis cunctis libera nos semper, Virgo gloriosa et benedicta.

  • WE FLY TO THY PATRONAGE

    We fly to thy patronage, O Holy Mother of God; despise not thou our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O ever glorious and blessed Virgin.

  • PARCE DOMINE

    Parce Domine, parce populo tuo: ne in æternum irascaris.

    V. Converte nos, Deus salutaris noster.
    R. Et averte iram tuam a nobis.

    Oremus.
    Deus misericors et clemens, exaudi precesquas pro fratribus pereuntibus gementes in conspectu tuo effundimus: ut conversi ab errore viæ suæ liberentur a morte; et ubi abundat delictum, superabundet gratia. Per Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.

  • SPARE, O LORD

    Spare, O Lord, spare thy people: be thou not angry with us forever.

    V. Convert us, O God our Saviour.
    R. And turn away thine anger from us.

    Let us pray.
    O God of mercy and compassion, hear the prayers which with groans and tears we pour forth in thy presence, for our brethren who are perishing; that, converted from the error of their ways, they may be delivered from death; and where sin abounds, that grace may abound the more. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

    (ii) O Maria, sine labe concepta, ora pro nobis, qui confugimus ad te.

    (ii) O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
